If you don’t have what it takes, you can get it!

Romans 10:17

So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

My son was born on 10/17. Since he was a little boy I’ve prayed for him whenever I would see the clock turn to 10:17. Morning and/or night. I always believed God was bringing my son to my mind and reminding me to pray for him. In December 2013 the Lord rescued me from a miserable existence…He poured His mercy and grace out on me and cleansed me from my sins. I understand what it means to be saved now…because I have been saved. I have surrendered my life to Christ and learning His word. This was the first bible verse that I learned and committed to memory when I was saved and the Lord spoke to me that He has been calling me for years…to learn His word. He has given me FAITH. And, I’ve never known such JOY! If you don’t know Christ…all you have to do is sincerely ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He will…and you’ll never regret it.

Update to original post 12/11/15:  I am turning 50 in a couple of weeks and embarking on a new journey.  I’m giving up my nursing career to commit a year of my life to a mission field right here in the USA.  I will give more information about that in a future post…but in the meantime, I’d like to invite you to follow me during this journey as I ask the Lord to guide my steps; as I seek a deeper relationship with God through sacrificial giving and learning to depend on Him for all of my needs; and as I knock on the door of humility, peace, joy, and most of all love.

Please feel free to comment and share your experiences as well…

    1. Thanks Tony…it’s been an amazing 2 years. God is so good, so faithful; and so patient with us. I am truly blessed and want to share what I’m learning with others. I had no idea how much He loves us! So, I’m guessing I’m not the only one. But what JOY comes when we discover His love was always there. Merry Christmas and thanks for the comment. 😊
