John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it.

This is AMAZING if you really think about it. Jesus is the light of the world…nothing can take His light away from us. You may feel like you are in a dark place right now…I’ve been there. I know the pain of depression, anger, bitterness. And now I know the joy of the light of Jesus shining in my life. Do you realize how simple this principle is? When you’re in a dark room and you light a candle the light shines and you can see again. The darkness cannot overcome the light, but the light does overcome the darkness! Let Jesus come in…let His light shine in you and through you, through all the broken places in your life. God said, “Let there be light!” and the light overcame the darkness.
