I believe it’s time to really begin to learn and put into practice what our salvation is all about. Salvation isn’t just saying a prayer and getting your ticket into heaven. Salvation is a changed life right here on earth too! Salvation is a gift from God that we can experience right here, right now. I have been saved…born again…God has changed my heart of stone to a heart of flesh…my mind has been renewed and a transformation is taking place (Romans 12:2). As this transformation occurs, the fruit of the Spirit becomes evident in the life of the believer. Thank You Lord that You are the vine and we are the branches…(John 15:5)
The Bible says:
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
It goes on to say in verse 10…For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Think about that…meditate on those verses and let the Father speak to your heart. It is all a matter of believing; having faith. And the Bible says that Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God…Romans 10:17
Your FAITH is dependent on HEARING the word of God…read it out loud! Ask Him to reveal what He is saying to your spirit. His word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12).
