I just heard a pastor say something that really struck me. I found him on YouTube recently and I really enjoy what he has to say. I’ve listened to many of his sermons and like what he has to say especially about the Bible, End Time Prophecy and Salvation.
In the sermon I listened to tonight (Part 2) he said, “The end is gonna be a great time for those who stood Biblically.” (Pastor Jack Hibbs @ around 48:50 on the video below)
That got me smiling! I want to be one of those people…I want to stand like the Bible tells us to. Stand strong in the faith (1 Cor 16:13). Some people need to understand what that means…who or what do you put your faith in? Mine is in Jesus…through the WORD of God. The Bible tells us everything we need to know.
I believe what Pastor Jack said here in 2015 to be true. I’m praying for those of you who don’t understand the importance of knowing God’s word. His word is our authority. John 17:17 says, Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
I’m learning the word and learning to trust in His promises and I know that as I read and study His word, the Holy Spirit gives me wisdom to understand.
I pray for everyone Lord to have a new revelation of You and Your goodness, Your mercy and Your grace to overcome whatever troubles they are facing right now. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear. Open their hearts up to be receptive to Your blessings.
The end is coming…and it is Your goodness that leads man to repentance. (Romans 2:4)
