Oh YES it does!
You just don’t know what you don’t know.
The enemy wants you to believe that what you don’t know won’t hurt you. But the Bible tells us different.
A few of the truths you need to know:
- God loves you.
- Jesus died for your sins.
- The Holy Spirit is available to believers and He will give you wisdom of the truth in God’s word.
- Satan has already been defeated.
Get your information from the word of God. Don’t listen to the world or the lies of the enemy.
God’s word says:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” Hosea 4:6 NKJV
Do you see that? God says His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. And Jesus tells us how that happens. In John 10:10 He says 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Jesus said He came to give you life! There’s no reason for you to lack knowledge. So don’t! Don’t lack knowledge, don’t reject the knowledge you’ve been given.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV)
“He shall die for lack of instruction, And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.” Proverbs 5:23 NKJV
The Bible is our book of instruction. The enemy will do everything he can to keep you from the truth contained in the word of God. He knows once you start to read the word for yourself and actually see the goodness of God throughout the holy Scripture, you will be set free. Don’t let him keep you from the truth; don’t be led astray.
He knows if you start learning the truth about your Creator and the truth about your identity as a child of God, he would have no power over you.
Be encouraged that if you’re reading this right now it’s because you were supposed to. You were led here for a reason and God is speaking to you. He will use whatever means available to get His message of love, mercy, grace and forgiveness to you.
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways.’
11 So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Hebrews 3:7-11

You’re tackling some difficult issues. Many will be convicted by your words and, perhaps, more than a little uncomfortable. but the Truth is the Truth, and you tell it like it is.

It is difficult Tony and I don’t necessarily feel qualified but I’m more than sure it’s the Lord who has given me this desire for people to know the truth. As well as the sense of urgency to get it out (as you might have noticed from my more frequent posts). Praying for His wisdom and guidance as I share what’s on my heart and thanking Him for your encouragement. 😉

I love this so much!! So often I have seen believers, including myself, turn a blind eye in a situation because it was the easier road… God wants more for us!
