26 For this reason (AV)God gave them up to (AW)dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, (AX)men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, (AY)God gave them up to (AZ)a debased mind to do (BA)what ought not to be done.29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know (BB)God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things (BC)deserve to die, they not only do them but (BD)give approval to those who practice them. (emphasis mine) Read Romans 1 here.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but (N)is longsuffering toward [c]us, (O)not willing that any should perish but (P)that all should come to repentance.
There was a time in my life when I believe I was on a path to destruction. I would not have admitted it, but I was a hater of God. How do I know this? Because I could identify with that list above. I didn’t acknowledge God as God and He gave me over to do things my own way. What He does in our lives to bring us back is different for everyone…my path to Christ won’t look like yours and yours won’t look like anyone else’s. The truth of the matter is, God is giving us opportunities each and every day to hear His still small voice calling us to the truth. Calling us to accept His free gift of salvation. His grace, His love and His mercy are available to each and every person who would humble themselves to call out to God.
That voice is calling to you now as you read this. It is! He is giving you a new opportunity RIGHT NOW…if today you hear His voice harden not your hearts.
Powerful words. Father, may my heart be softened toward you always.

Thank you for this Jackie. If I offend in one area, I’ve offended in them all.
