How often do we get this wrong? God isn’t a personal genie in a bottle. He’s not saying He will give you whatever you want. Read it again. This verse is reminding us about what’s truly important…to take delight in Him! To be delighted in knowing the Creator of the universe…in your relationship with Him. And when we do that, our desires will change. We won’t be so focused on ourselves…He will GIVE US new desires.
Thank you Lord that YOU have changed my focus…You have filled me with new desires. Help me to know how to share Your truth with others.

Yes, he will give us the desires of our hearts, because our desires will be his desires when we truly take delight in him.
