Hi Lisa! Galesburg is my hometown…never thought I’d be back here. It’s not that it’s so awful but I’m not a big fan of the cold or the snow. And I miss being close to my sister and her family…they are in Arizona.
Oh, thanks for sharing that. I know the Lord blesses our obedience and knows our heart’s desires….somehow He can bring them both together. I’m struggling with a similar matter, being far from beloved family but I have to keep trusting in God. Thanks again sister, press on!
Yes, I’m here to help my mom and I needed a place to stay after my accident where I could get back on my feet. We’ve been helping each other. My son is in California and my brother and his family too. We’re all kind of spread out. But I sense the Lord working…and obedience is better than the way I used to live for sure! Thanks for your encouragement. Praying for you too Lisa…God is good despite our circumstances.
