I’m responding to a previous request you asked of me…I’m actually way ahead in my Bible reading but decided to start looking back at some previous chapters and the reading schedule I have shows today’s reading would be from Deuteronomy 17-20. You asked me to let you know of things that stood out to me. Well…this is a big one! Deuteronomy 17:2-7…the putting to death by stoning anyone who has been found worshiping other gods. On the evidence of 2-3 witnesses the person would be stoned to death…by God’s command!
