I was just reading through an old notebook and came across something I had written down. It was taken from 2 Corinthians 1:22 but I’m not sure where I heard it or when. It is such a sweet reminder that I wanted to share it.
At the moment of your FAITH IN CHRIST-you were sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption! (2 Corinthians 1:22) He will never leave you nor forsake you! (Hebrews 13:5)
Whatever you’re going through right now, whatever your struggle, you can have peace when you trust the peace giver.
If you have never cried out to God I encourage you to do so. It’s not that He’ll make your life easier, or bring you wealth, health or happiness. But He will offer you the forgiveness of your sins and a true relationship with the creator of the world. The true and loving God.
Christ said he came not to bring peace but a sword…a sword that divides. It’s not all butterflies and rainbows…the true Christian life is hard! H.A.R.D. but we know the end of the story and we can live a victorious life because Christ already paid the price for our sins.
The debt has been paid. You can walk in newness of life with Him.
Surrender and trust in the Savior.
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. This one just seemed right tonight.
